Why We Do Sports?
Engaging in physical activity through sports can have numerous benefits for mental health, including reducing stress, improving self-esteem, fostering social connection, increasing focus and concentration, and reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety. Children’s Wish Foundation uses sports to meaningfully engage and support children and youths (girls & boys) in the communities where we work to create meaningful bonds, socialize, rehabilitate, relax, foster confidence and self-esteem, and reduce the risk of developing and living with mental health conditions.
