Young Women Empowerment
Children’s Wish Foundation Uganda empowers girls with life skills, education, and sisterhood is vital for them to become thriving women. Every year a girl goes to school can increase her future income by 10 percent.

Empowering young women
Is central to our mission, as we believe that when women thrive, communities flourish. Our Young Women Empowerment program focuses on equipping girls and young women with education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship skills to enhance their independence and self-reliance.
We provide mentorship, leadership training, and business development support to help young women start their own enterprises and achieve financial stability. Through workshops on financial literacy, career guidance, and self-confidence building, we encourage women to pursue their dreams and break barriers in traditionally male-dominated fields.
Our program
Also addresses gender-based violence and advocates for women’s rights by educating communities on gender equality, consent, and legal protections. We work closely with local organizations, law enforcement, and policymakers to create a safe environment for young women to live, learn, and work without fear of discrimination or violence.
Additionally, we promote menstrual hygiene management by providing reusable sanitary pads, hygiene education, and access to clean facilities in schools and communities. By removing barriers that prevent girls from attending school, we empower them to complete their education and build a brighter future.
